Zelanda is Asiatic cuisine mixed in among Palermo's parilla obsessed restaurants. Their interpretations include appetizers such as Bunuelo Vietnamita (little Vietnamese bundles) along with entrees including shrimp flan with miso soup and miniature steamed vegetables, and red chicken curry with coconut milk and Jasmine rice. Their sandwiches play a prominent role in the menu with choices from a soy and pumpkin patty topped with chutney, ginger and brie cheese or a 130gram meat patty with sweet chili salsa, cheddar cheese, and pancetta. These are no thin tostada. These are hearty, meal-size stacks of fresh ingredients. For dessert, choose from Trio de Crème Brulé which includes lemon grass, green tea, and mint flavors served with sesame crackers, and Mandarin and Mascarpone Trifle. Beer, liquor and wine are all available with sufficient though not overwhelming choices. Entrées are between $11-$30 pesos, and payment is cash-only. They are open daily from 9am until the last customers leave, usually around 1am —Zelanda review by Gena Mavuli
