Soul Café is one of the many trendy bars, slash eateries, that line Baéz street in the heart of fashionable Las Cañitas.  With an extremely well-stocked bar offering a wide choice of vodkas such as Danzka, Grey Goose, and several flavoured Absoluts, and an exciting contemporary menu, Soul Café is one of the hottest destinations in the area.  It is crammed with elegant diners and drinkers pretty much every night.  There are plenty of seats along the bar for guests looking to make new acquaintances, plus a number of intimate tables for two.  The decor is all about deep red lighting and modern, not overly comfortable furniture.  The giant screen in the main room shows Argentinean soccer most Sunday afternoons, making the atmosphere decidedly more like a loud bar than a serious restaurant.

The Soul Café kitchen is international, offering an above average range of choice for a Buenos Aires restaurant.  There is sea-food, pasta dishes, sushi, and a whole host of bar snacks, like burgers and cheese sticks to be enjoyed.  Entrees are about AR$25.  The wine list is not vast, but none the less adequate with bottles of red or white available for AR$30.  For high rollers, bottles of champagne can be popped for as much as AR$500.   Mixed drinks and cocktails are about AR$13 to AR$15.
