Arguably one of the hottest restaurants in town, Olsen mixes creative, modern cuisine with a polished, earthy atmosphere. The ambiance along with the food is Nordic-inspired and thus very earthy, homey and rich.  The understated wooden entrance leads through an outdoor garden, past a series of water falls and eventually to the spacious, wide-open restaurant.   Olsen’s outdoor patio is in high demand during the summer months as its ideal to lounge while sipping on a martini and sampling appetizers. Reservations are recommended.

The scene is Buenos Aires-chic with the beautiful, well dressed people at almost every table- this is not a place to bring the kids.  The dinning room is coated with earthy brown tones and tables are spaciously spread around a large, centre wood stove.  The long wooden bar displays the myriad of vodka’s available along with other imported liquors, yet most appetizers and plates have liquor recommendations along with them.

Head Chef Germán Martitegui serves long plates of appetizers including fish, beef carpaccio, and a variety of meats.  The main menu provides something for everyone, including moist and tender meats like venison, rabbit and chicken, along with fresh fish options and several irresistibly decadent desserts. A must for International foodies and gourmet diners alike, Olsen has earned its reputation as one of the top spots in Buenos Aires.
