El Trapiche's claim to fame is traditional Argentine food at respectable prices. The menu includes pastas such as fresh gnocchi or ravioli and outstanding cuts of beef or lomo. Many plates are large enough to share with friends or family. For dessert choose from gelato with fresh strawberries and raspberries or beautifully rich, decadent cakes. A long time Buenos Aires landmark, El Trapiche has always been a local favorite. Large windows, high ceilings and wine-bottle adorned walls set create the family-style ambiance.
