This small storefront has arguably one of the best variety of empanadas, tartas, and pizzetas in Buenos Aires. Tradicional-flour varieties include chicken, tomato, mozzarella and basil, and veggie. What makes El Arbol unique are their whole wheat tartas with pumpkin and mozzarella, fresh veggie and ricotta, or roquefort cheese with celery and nuts, just to name a few.

El Arbol is a neighborhood store unknown by most tourists who enjoy this city. However, if in Belgrano for a sunny afternoon, this is the place to grab some great, healthy food, relax in one of Belgrano's many parks and dine on some of the best comida tipica (typical food) Argentina has to offer. Empanadas range from $1-2 pesos a piece, and tartas from $3-$4 pesos a piece. Cash only.
