This gem is only a few months old but promises to be a favorite for the Corrientes theater crowd. The space is beautiful and pleasant with sparse but artistic floral décor and a soothing Koi tank in the back. The large round tables with lazy Susans also make this a welcoming environment for larger groups and sharing the tasty cuisine.
The menu is extensive enough to please even the most finicky eaters and it's a steal at the price. Appetizers run from $6-$12 (US $2-$4) and include tasty treats like perfectly friend won tons and a variety of traditional soups like egg drop and fish ball. Entrees average between $9 and $15 (US $3-$5), including Chow Mein and Chow Fan, which can be prepared in a variety of ways and with a variety of accompaniments. Each dish is enough to serve at least two and comes with a decorative garnish to make you feel like you are restaurants in style.
Dragon de Oro also has a list of 40-50 wines to whet your whistle and those with expensive taste will be impressed with the special duck, lobster, shrimp, and calamari dishes, which can reach up to $50 (US $17). Dragon de Oro also distinguishes itself with its large non-smoking section in the front providing an atypically fresh restaurants experience. Run, don't walk, to Dragon de Oro before the secret is out.
