Hours: Dalmacio's is open for lunch and dinner daily
Price range: $$-$$$

At Dalmacio hip food on wide plates comes aside tall, stiff drinks. Rich meals such as provoletta (fondu-like cheese dish) with spinach mushrooms and chicken, traditional grilled parilla, and pasta dishes with a twist are offered. For dessert, get the cake with the gooey chocolate middle served aside dulce de leche ice-cream; you won't be disappointed. If chocolate isn't your vice, other sweet options are also available. A wide selection of liquor both local and imported is available along with beer and an extensive wine list.

Dalmacio's intimate atmosphere has gone modern with WiFi for the working-lunch crowd. They also provide a new-to-Buenos Aires phenomenon: a smoke-free section for those who want to pretend they are away from fumes. An upstairs loft adds extra seating and a wide-open, spacious feeling; a nice contrast to many restaurants where one feels crammed in between other diners. Black interior and tables makes this a place to dine or enjoy a few drinks. Entrees run between $10-$25 pesos. Major credit cards are accepted.
