This is the place for quality, fresh sushi in Buenos Aires. Here is where you'll find people who know good sushi and don't mind diving down and out into a lesser-known part of San Telmo to get it. Thick slices of salmon sashimi is balanced with delicate rolls of salmon and avocado in a platter to share. Nikkai offers a variety of tradional sashimi and sushi, lunch specials, large-bowled noodle soups, and some traditional Argentine appetizers.

Pale-green walls with subtle straw accents makes for a unique experience. Sit at the sushi bar or at a table. Nikkai is often full with local patrons, but is a great place for travelors to come and debate the intricate troubles and pleasures of wandering the world; this place is definetly a joy. Open for lunch and dinner. Prices vary between $3-$15 pesos per entree. Major credit cards are accepted.
