Asian fare with an Argentine influence is served in a hot, modern atmosphere at BuddhaBa. Red walls and red couches line the room while only slight adornments, such as one single branch of orchids, bring contrast. Upstairs is a museum, and the restaurant offers seating inside, outside and on the upstairs patio. Wherever you are seated is a calm yet intense place to enjoy such delicacies as an appetizer of Pate Imperial, small rolls with Vietnamese chicken and mint served on a bed of baby greens. For an entree, try 8 Tesoros (eight treasures), a wonderful combination of Chinese vegetables, tofu and fresh seafood, or the Brisa Taiwanese, moist chicken seasoned with basil, ginger and garlic in a light soy sauce. For dessert, taste the Café Glaciar and the homemade green tea cake.
