Art X 3 is a cozy little restaurant with a Mexican and Argentinean kitchen. Located on one of the busiest streets in Palermo Soho it still manages to keep a very relaxed atmosphere. Based in what feels like an old family home that’s been given a blitz of bright red, yellow and blue paint it really has a look all of its own. It couldn’t be called fancy or authentically Mexican, but it certainly is welcoming and laid back. With the seating areas divided into several small rooms Art X 3 is a great restaurant for an intimate dining experience. The Mexican items on the menu are much as one would expect. There are Tacos (AR$13), Burritos (AR$13), Enchiladas (AR$14), and Quesadillas (AR$27-50 for sharing platters), as well as a Nacho appetizers. Seeing as the Argentinean cuisine is notoriously bereft of spiciness Art X 3 has clearly adapted their seasoning to local preferences. Fans of hot Mexican food would be well advised to ask for the most super spicy options available! The Argentinean dishes available obviously include Milanesas and steaks. Wines are available for as little as AR$10 a bottle whereas a liter of beer costs a peso less. From the quite extensive cocktail list, the frozen Margarita comes recommended at AR$9. —Art X 3 review by Johan Jensen
