Tazz is just one of many adult playgrounds that await you in the money-sucking, fun-filled barrio of La Costanera that stretches along the north of Buenos Aires and skirts the river. La Costanera is estilo Irvine, California and Tazz is no exception. Modern décor in black and red with bed-like couches, space age light fixtures, and ass-shaped bar stools await you as if the devil himself were beckoning you inside. The high ceilings give it a warehouse feel and intimate booths look like NASA scientists designed them.

The menu is comprehensive and well priced compared to most establishments in Buenos Aires where drinking is the number one priority. A large plate of Poker chicken (fried chicken poppers) comes with three tasty dipping sauces – just don’t try to order more – and costs $8AR. Other appetizers from not-bad nachos to giant bowls of fries range from $5-$10AR and are priced to sell with American-style portions. Other menu highlights include wok veggies, quesadillas, and fajitas. Personal pizzas are just $6-$10AR and there are sandwiches and salads for those who want to avoid the tempting grease. A set menu of entrada, main course, dessert, and drink costs $24AR per person and if you order it for two, you get free pool and video games to go with. Drinks, however, are the focus and Tazz has a full bar, a hearty cocktail list, and diners should save room for exotic libations or the $9AR wet chocolate dessert.

The fun doesn’t stop there as Tazz has about 15 pool tables, electronic dartboards, pinball machines, foosball tables, and a 6-lane bowling alley upstairs. Tazz is a multi-sensory experience designed to keep you mindlessly entertained for hours at a time. They have other locations in Palermo and Madrid, take reservations for parties and kids, and anxiously await your tourist dollars.
