One of the many gringo-esque restaurants along Puerto Madero, Spell Café is cheesy, expensive, and kind of charming. The place has a decidedly American theme, but its not necessarily a haven for foreigners. The cavernous interior features video games, pina coladas, and even a Foosball table. Its got internet access should you care to check your stocks while enjoying a daiquiri or mozzarella sticks. Spell Café also has an outdoor patio, where one, should they so choose, can sit in the sunshine and sip a beer while admiring the Puente Calatrava I Calatrava Bridge and any young Argentines that happen to pass by as they walk down Dique 3 I Pier 3. There is also the opportunity to have charicatures drawn by a local artist who hangs about hoping to attract some gringo dollars. Buyer beware however...it will not look anything like you. Beers at Spell Café are around $9 or $10AR, bottles of wine are $20AR and up. Count on spending at least $20AR on a meal.
