The back room of Pappa Deus looks like the living room we all wish we owned, well, at least for those of us who wish we were big game hunters with elephant guns and pith hats.  Dim lights, red painted walls, and the shadows from the ironwork outside the windows give the place a dark and intimate feel.  There’s a fireplace at one end, large potted plants everywhere, and old furniture and books so perfectly arranged that you half imagine the owner of the room will be coming back at any time.  A large gazelle head mounted on one wall gives the place a Jumanji-type vibe.

The rest of the place sports an equally meticulous attention to style, from the antique chandeliers to the hatstand just inside the door draped with a pair of perfectly arranged fedoras.  The front room offers intimate restaurants and large windows onto the street, and theres a large balcony with more tables should you prefer the icy heights.

Pappa Deus manages to bring all this style at a reasonable price.  Liters of Quilmes are the standard $5AR, and a bottle of wine averages around $15AR.  Most of the entrees cost around $18AR, including an impressive selection of tapas that you can order for two to four people.  The pastas also come highly recommended.
