A corner bar and café that also serves up some decent meals for lunch or late night snacks, Henri, is a favorite among Palermo Soho locals.  It is not one of the neighborhood’s most happening or chic weekend destinations as much as just a relaxing hang-out.  With plenty of chairs and tables along the sidewalks it attracts families and sightseers eager to rest their feet after hitting the nearby tourist haunts and shopping opportunities by day, and bar flies looking for a quiet spot to start or round off a session by night.

Henri’s menu includes a number of Porteño standards, like steak sandwiches (with or without eggs, cheese, and ham) from between AR$8 and AR$12.  Chicken sandwiches and hamburgers cost about the same, whilst the waffles range all the way up to AR$18 for the meatiest option.  Bottles of wine, all Argentinean, are priced quite reasonably for the area, at between AR$17 and AR$35.  A liter bottle of Heineken is AR$9, also far from pricey considering the neighborhood.  There are board games and decks of cards available for use free of charge.
