Calle Baez has developed something of a reputation for high-class cuisine and Campobravo doesn’t let this side down at all. Essentially traditional Argentine cooking in tasteful surroundings, the restaurant has proved to be a hit with both tourists and locals. This boast is backed up by the fact that it is advisable to call ahead any night of the week to make reservations, a testament to its quality and popularity.

During the day the large windows let in a lot of natural light, which combines with the pure white walls to make it feel fresh and clean. Both businessmen and Porteño families dominate the lunchtime period. In the evening however the style of the restaurant changes quite drastically. Candles light the tables giving the restaurants area a romantic feel, though it is not just couples that fill the restaurant every evening. The low lights and stylish art projection on the wall lend it a classy ambience favoured by groups of friends too.

The menu is based around the traditional Parilla, with fresh pastas and some vegetarian dishes also on offer. The parilla is one of the best I have tried, highly recommended!
