Pacha is one of the reasons that Buenos Aires is big on the international clubbing map. Poised on the river's edge on Avenida Costanera Norte, this is one of the greatest spots in town to party all night, all morning, watch the sunrise over the river, and party some more. Make no mistake - the beats continue here until well after dawn. Pacha has already made a huge name for itself in the world with locations in New York, London, Madrid, and the party capital of the world - Ibiza. The Pacha party famously continues in Buenos Aires and their worldwide connections and affiliation with the Ministry of Sound make this a night to remember.

It is, however, good to remember that world-class parties and glamour galore come at world-class prices, even by Buenos Aires inexpensive standards. Entry prices are hefty and vary depending on the show but expect to pay between $30-$80AR to get a foot in the door and after 3am, expect to wait. Once inside a typical well drink will set you back a whopping $25AR. The cheapest drink we found inside was a $10AR can of Brahma or $8AR mini bottle of water. However, in the riotous club atmosphere, typical clubbers are generally too far into the beat to notice.

Pacha hosts world-class DJs and those looking for great beats and an appreciative crowd will find it here. As well as hosting Ministry of Sound shows, Pacha hosts resident DJs that keep the place at a thunderous pitch throughout the night. The club has a capacity of over 2000 and packs them in like sardines. Bathroom lines are epic, the patios are jam packed, and the upstairs (slightly more mellow Club Lounge) is rarely any different. The majority of the crowd in definitely in the 18-25 year old age range with smatterings of older and scarily younger. Because of its easy access by car, this is a popular spot for suburban rich kids driving into the city to make a night of it.

By daybreak, Pacha's floors are sticky with beer, covered in bottles and plastic glasses, and the crowds are filthy, sweaty, and a little worse for the wear. The party really gets going here around 4am (arrive before 2am and you might even find yourself bored) and stops around 8am. This is the place to burn those pesos in blaze of vacation glory. Check Pacha's website for upcoming shows and guest DJs.
