The Gran Hotel de la Paix is a wonderful midrange option for those looking for a comfortable stay in a great location. Located on Av. Rivadavia, the hotel is within walking distance of all major downtown cultural activities and sites such as the Palacio del Congreso and world-famous Café Tortoni. The hotel has 70 rooms and suites and the décor is simple and a little on the 70's side but if you are looking for comfort and convenience without too much glamour, this is a wonderful choice. The rooms are clean and spacious while the suites have a living area in addition to the bedroom and cost only about $10USD extra. Your stay also includes the free breakfast buffet every day. Amenities include cable TV, mini-bar service, safe boxes, and medical aid. This is also one of the only 3-star choices in the area that offers complete WiFi service making it even more convenient for the business traveler. The bathrooms are also pretty spacious. There is a small business center for events equipped with WiFi. Call and ask about event booking and group rates. With all the 5-star glamour nearby, Gran Hotel de la Paix stands out as a classic 3-star choice with convenience that provides plenty of bang for your buck.
