The brainchild of wealthy and eccentric Latin American businessman Alan Faena along with the helping hand of world-renowned French Architect Philippe Starck, this five star plus hotel goes beyond most guests wildest expectations.

What’s an ‘Experience Manager’ you ask? Come to the Hotel Faena+Universe – a high-end hotel like no other on earth - and find out. Roll on up to the side entrance (there is no front door) and you’ll be greeted by a few friendly men in black who will make your bags disappear and hand you your own personal cell phone. From that point on, all communications will be through your own phone to your personal ‘Experience Manager’, acting as everything from the bellman to concierge to room service; basically your own personal assistant for the entire duration of your stay.

From the pool-bar to the cabaret to the ‘Living Room’ and the swan faucets in the public lavatories, every last detail down to the Imperial claw-footed chairs, sofas and individual bathtubs have been thoroughly thought through. There are four dining areas, the most impressive perhaps done all in white except for the red eyed-white unicorns that line both walls.

Luxury, luxury, and luxury is what its all about at the Faena.

Even the Botique will impress world-class shoppers offering the most decadent gifts including the actual Starck models that we’re used in one of five completely different designing rounds. “Alan wanted everything RED,” says Florencia Vrljicak, the hotels superb Public Relations Manager. And red it is as the hotel was originally an old red-bricked warehouse that Faena preserved.

There are nine different categories of one hundred and eight total rooms starting at Premium and finishing at Presidential. Rates varying drastically but expect to spend at least $350USD per night for the chance to stay at one of the world’s best and most luxurious hotels. Be sure to make your reservations well in advance as they can be fully booked months ahead!
