The Claridge is one of the few family-run and owned five star hotels in Buenos Aires. It's Tudor style architecture, personal attention to detail, and prominent location on Tucuman Street makes the Claridge Hotel one of the better choices to stay for buisness or leisuire travelers alike. This stately, classy and refined hotel has tall white pillars, valet parking, an immense foyer complete with Italian marble accents which categorizes it as one of the best hotels in town. Dark hard-wood floors and rich coloured walls help to emphasize the deep-red furniture, making one quite aware that this European styled Boutique Hotel provides their guests with a classy experience. The Claridge has a large heated outdoor pool available for year-round usage, an open air terrace and feng-shui insipired wooden deck along with spa, health club, and sauna. The buffet-style Breakfast has several stations including cereals, fruits, and a light table for those watching their weight. The real treat is the on-site bakery which serves warm pastries and breads as part of the buffet extravaganza starting at 7am. This bakery is running non-stop 24 hours a day and in the wee hours of the morning one can smell scones, croissants, and muffins rising in the oven. Looking for afternoon tea? The Claridge hosts a traditional English tea service from 3:30-5pm including finger sandwiches, scones and muffins.
